About Royal Exchange Theatre

As part of the Royal Exchange Theatre’s artistic programme, the Participation and Learning team is responsible for the management and delivery of a range of adult, community, educational and young people’s programmes. The ethos, strategy and standards for Participation and Learning are those of the overall artistic and cultural strategy for the organisation.

The Business Challenge

We started using Textmagic because a number of our participants do not have regular access to email and we needed a streamlined process to relay information quickly. We also discovered that certain people are more responsive to a text than to an email.

How Textmagic Helped

Being able to send text to a group of people, via your own email address, has been brilliant as it means that individual project managers can communicate directly with their group, without the need for administrative support.

The Results

Due to the nature of our programme we cannot 'measure' the result however we are definitely receiving quicker responses from hard to reach people, meaning less staff time is spent chasing them up.
